Following quite some time of speculation, the battle royale mode for BF6 is officially launching. Last week's talk suggesting its debut would happen alongside Season 1 were spot-on. Fans can jump into the mode starting in just a day.

Maybe the biggest announcement is that this new experience will be F2P. In the vein of popular games, you won't require to purchase the main title to play. Some participants have previously tried pre-release builds of the experience. The heart-pounding excitement during encounters with opposing teams is unmatched in other battle royale. It feels do or die, and you genuinely worry if you make it or not.

Although I was a skeptic previously, I'm now a fan of the battle royale now that I've experienced it.

Such initial impressions from players have been extremely encouraging. Naturally, the mode may have evolved over the last month or two in terms of tuning and speed. Still, early signs are strong that the battle royale could be a real rival to established games. Players are hoping that the most effective firearms from the original Battlefield 6 will also apply in the battle royale.
